“The song’s expressive lyrics and smooth guitar riffs punctuate its message.” – Blabbermouth
“Unsentimental, chilling, evocative, and real…” – iHeart Radio News
“Good, old-fashioned rock n’ roll may have just made a modern comeback.” – NYLON
“One of those bands you listen to and immediately know they should be huge with their pure-rock sound and riff-driven tracks.” – Radio.com “Badflower write guitar hooks and succulent melodies with the strength of a band 10 times its age.” “This is everything you’d really hope modern rock to be… the band we’ve all been looking for.” – Artist Direct “OK, I’M SICK fits in perfectly in today’s rock scene. From start to finish, the album takes you on an emotional ride jumping from hit to hit. The strong percussion presence partnered with hard guitar sounds place them at the top of the game. I am confident you’ll be hearing their name in the future of rock music.” (5 out of 5 stars) – Substream “OK, I’M SICK is an intensely emotional and jarring journey of riff-filled, primal hard rock and a blatantly 21st century rock record covering a range of topics more modern than the average top 40 charts can handle and doing so with an unnerving honesty and vulnerability.” – High Voltage Magazine “[debut album] OK, I’M SICK is definitely a promising start…well-crafted, glossy angst” – Newsday “This fits its right into the 20NineScene comeback we’ve been waiting for (and championing!).” – Paper NASHVILLE, TN (June 14, 2019) – Badflower release their official music video for “Promise Me” off their critically-acclaimed debut album OK, I’M SICK via Big Machine/John Varvatos Records today. The concept of growing old scares the hell out of me. The thought that I won’t have my youth forever, that things like love and heartbreak might not be as powerful as they once were… This video is very important to me because it confronts those fears. I hope to have the spirit of the characters we’ve created in this video. I hope to stay young at heart no matter what happens throughout the course of my life. – Josh Katz of Badflower OK, I’M Sick landed #1 on Alternative New Artist Album, #3 Alternative Album and Billboard Top 200 charts.
