Atreyu At The Complex In Salt Lake City 11-14-2019

“Absolutely exhilarating,” as Alex Varkatzas put it.  Not a single empty space in the Complex, as twenty years of dedicated fans, gave their full, undivided attention to Atreyu. November 14th Salt Lake City, had the pleasure of being the sixth to the last stop, on their Twenty-year anniversary tour. Fans experienced a little nostalgia, and a little something new with songs like, “Right Side of the Bed,” or as Alex introduced it, “The NeverEnding Story of Fake Tits,” from there, “The Curse” album and, “The Time is Now,” from their more recently released album “In Our Wake.” Alex, leading the crowd in chants such as, “Live, Love, Burn, Die!” Three songs in, the staff had to beef up security, to catch the sudden influx of crowd surfing fans. Atreyu let Salt Lake in on a dirty little secret when they spilled the beans about a secret pair of genitalia, that could be seen in their “Generations” video.  Fingers pointed to the culprit being Travis Miguel, but will Salt Lake City Fans really know for sure? They switched things up, as they called it, “Europe style,” Brandon replacing Alex, with Mark doing some screams, so Salt Lake City could get a taste of Europe’s pleasure. With Middle fingers in the air and a united, “F*** Yeah” chanted between the audience.  Atreyu, pleased with Salt Lake’s participation, remarked the audience was the, “best show so far!”  Unfortunately, “due to a strict curfew,” as Brandon would say, there was no encore, though fans left The Compex with jokes, twenty years’ worth of memories, and maybe even a drum stick or two if lady luck and a long arm was on their side.  As more than enough show memorabilia was being tossed out to hold any fan over until the next remarkable Atreyu experience comes to town.  If you, as a loyal fan, we’re unable to make it to the Salt Lake show, there is still hope for you to catch the experience! They still have five more spots to hit which include; Chico CA, Reno NV, Los Angeles CA, and last but not least, Ventura CA.
