World's Loudest Month Artist Alter Bridge

In the world of Hard Rock there is one band that has made a name for themselves beyond the rest with a powerhouse stage performances and killer riffs, Alter Bridge.

Founded in 2004 after Rock band Creed parted way, former members Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall, sought out Myles Kennedy of the band, Mayfield Four. That year they put out their debut album, One Day Remains which went Gold by the RIAA.

The band made up of Myles Kennedy on lead vocals/guitar, Mark Tremonti on lead guitar/backing vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on the drums went back into the studio in 2007 to record their second album, Blackbird. The album got favorable reviews and the band toured in support of it until around 2009.

In 2009 Tremonti, Phillips and Marshall had an opportunity to embark on a Creed reunion tour and write a new album with former singer, Scott Stapp. While the Creed tour was underway, Kennedy had the chance to write and record some songs with Slash for his solo album. He then went out on tour as lead vocalist with Slash for the duration of the tour.

Alter Bridge started working on AB III, which produced their biggest single to date “Isolation”. The album was released in 2010 and the band quickly went out on tour from 2010-2012. After the two years on the road in support of AB III, the members took some time off to work on other projects.  Mark Tremonti formed his band Tremonti and released his solo album All I Was. Kennedy went back to singing and writing with Slash, releasing Apocalyptic Love under the name Slash, Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. Phillips joined John Connolly and Vinnie Hornsby of Sevendust alongside Eric Friedman (former member of Submersed) on a new band called Projected releasing Human.

In 2013, Alter Bridge found themselves in talks to go back into the studio to record their fourth album, Fortress.  By the time 2016, came around the band embarked on a US tour with Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin in the summer followed by the band’s fifth album, The Last Hero was which was released in the fall.

Alter Bridge will be embarking on an Australian and New Zealand Tour 2017 starting March 31 in Auckland and ending April 6 in Fremantle. Followed by their US Headlining 2017 Tour – The Last Hero Tour this summer. The solo shows will begin on April 21 in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and ending May 17 in Milwaukee, WI. In between the solo shows, Alter Bridge will be playing the World’s Loudest Month Tour playing festivals like Fort Rock, Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma. Alter Bridge has proven to be a band that are road dogs and live to play for the crowd. With their high energy stage shows and in your face mixed with melodic music no one wants to miss out when Alter Bridge comes to town.
