Following the recent announcement of their upcoming acoustic EP, Burst & Decay, The Wonder Years will be heading out for a run of intimate shows, performing the re-imagined songs live. The tour will kick off on September 24th at The Shelter in Detroit, MI and wrap up in New York City on October 8th at Le Poisson Rouge. Laura Stevenson, The Obsessives and Jetty Bones are confirmed to support. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10am local time at www.thewonderyearsband.com.
Vocalist Dan Campbell explains, “The goal of this tour is intimacy…small rooms, different song arrangements and instrumentation. We want this to be a very unique experience for fans used to seeing us in a much different setting.”
Burst & Decay includes seven tracks from the band’s previous catalog, reimagined and presented in a new light acoustically. The EP will be officially released on September 22nd, 2017, and is now available for both digital and vinyl pre-order.
