Whitney Peyton is known as one of the hardest working artists and the past few months have been no exception. She recently wrapped up as support on a 55 date tour and released her Tragic Hero Records debut album, “Firecracker Pyro Edition.” Her dedication did not go unnoticed as her record hit multiple Billboard charts including but not only #3 Top New Artist Albums, #9 Current Rap Albums Overall, #11 Current R&B/ Hip Hop Albums and she’s ready to start 2018 off strong with her first ever headlining tour.
Bringing her lively and spirited personality to the stage, Whitney is excited to take her talents out on the road as the top of the ticket. She explained, “After touring for about two years straight as the supporting act for some incredibly notable artists I’m ready to prove myself as the headliner! Some emcees prefer the studio to the stage, but for me, I embrace being a live performer over everything else. There’s energy and adrenaline from the crowd you just can’t replicate in a vocal booth. I plan on playing tracks from my FIRECRACKER album, fan favorites, and a slew of songs I’ve never performed before.”
Despite all her success over the years, Whitney stays humble and is thankful for the support she’s been given. Whitney shared, “I realize those who attend concerts could literally be anywhere else, but they choose to spend their time and money on artists they support… that’s an honor and trust me, they won’t regret it!”
W and 5280 Mystic will be support on the tour that kicks off on February 22nd in Greeley, CO and wraps up on March 24th in Phoenix, AZ. Tickets will be available on Friday, December 1st and “Firecracker Pyro Edition” can be purchased at Merchbucket.
