Wayland’s Rinse & Repeat

Wayland's Rinse & Repeat
Wayland is a group of Michigan-based rockers who’ve been making music for years, but they are now releasing their debut full-length album Rinse & Repeat with Mighty Loud / InGrooves on September 22nd. This is their first major release, after playing over 500 shows since 2013.

The album is full of the same kind of rock tunes fans would expect from them after their previous recordings, the self-released 2010 self-titled album, a 2012 EP (Welcome To My Head) and several singles (2015’s Bloody Sunrise, 2014’s Get A Little, 2013’s Reno). For fans of the song “Welcome To My Head,” which still gets tons of radio play in Michigan (if not elsewhere), this new album still has plenty of catchy tunes, riffs, and beats, starting from song one, “All Rise.”

The first single from this album, which is already on radio playlists, is “Through The Fire”. It definitely sounds like the rock music you’d expect to hear on the radio these days, and it doesn’t go too far off from the sound you’re used to from them. It’s pure rock, no catchy gimmicks, with greats vocals and lyrics, and tight instruments backing it up.

You’ll even find the obligatory love song, with “Come Back To Me.” This song will give you all the feels.

Mitch Arnold (vocals), Phillip Vilenski (guitars), Dean Pizzazz (bass) and Nigel Dupree (drums), the guys that make up Wayland, have honed their talent well over the years and have put out a great album as their first major release. Once in awhile you might hear some riffs that give it an 80s vibe, which is kind of cool.
