The Twindows’ single ‘Forgiven’

Written By: Yvonne Glasgow

The Twindows hail from Harrisburg, PA. They have an amazingly fun sound that will hook anyone that digs a good alternative, punk sound. Not only is their music awesome and addictive, their singer has a voice that makes this band stand out.

First, The Twindows are Aster Grimm on vocals and guitar, Kyle “Shaggs” Anderson on bass, guitar, and vocals, Caleb Banas on guitar and bass, and Oskar Daoud on drums.

They recently released the second single for their upcoming album, Valkyrie 2.0. “Forgiven” is a powerful song that emphasizes Grimm’s edgy vocals, described as “quirky” in their bio. She has an interesting pitch that makes the band’s music something extremely unique.

This particular song kind of makes you think of the Pixies, in some ways. It’s clever, unique, and it absolutely rocks. There’s not a moment when the song lets you go, it holds onto you like facehugger, screaming in your face.

The energy in this song is amazing. The guitar riffs make it such a punk rocking song and work well with Grimm’s vocals. It’s a song you’ll love no matter what kind of punk or alt-rock fan you are.

Right now you can check out two songs from this forthcoming album, both available on Bandcamp. The complete album is set to be released in early March, and you can pre-order it right now (which is something you really might want to do when you give them a listen).
