Australia’s premiere incendiary musical export THY ART IS MURDER, and Polish metal extremists DECAPITATED, will co-headline a North American tour together this August/September. Joining them are progressive death metal masters FALLUJAH and depressive black metal sensations GHOST BATH.

Rising from the unhallowed wastes of Western Sydney, THY ART IS MURDER successfully cleaved a trail of blood & mayhem since their inception in 2006. With the acclaimed Infinite Death EP (2008) and their debut album The Adversary (2010) firmly establishing their name in the global metal music scene, the band has traversed highways & autobahns all around the world, playing 342 tour dates alone in support of their Nuclear Blast Entertainment debut, Hate (2012), which debuted at #35 on the Top 40 Aria chart – the highest chart debut of any Australian extreme metal band.

THY ART IS MURDER‘s latest album, Holy War, landed at #82 on the Billboard Top 200 in its first week of sales. This marks the first time THY ART IS MURDER has made the coveted chart. The band saw similar success in their homeland where they reached #7 on the Aria Charts – the highest position ever for an Australian extreme metal act.

FALLUJAH caused quite a stir in the music world with the release of their latest album, The Flesh Prevails. It topped several “best of 2014” lists in not only the metal world, but in the progressive music community as well and won over scores of new fans with their fresh, emotive, and technically challenging music. As a result, FALLUJAH has paved the way for a new melodic and atmospheric perspective on death metal!

FALLUJAH’s commitment to crafting forward thinking music, has helped them build their own die-hard fan-base from the ground-up through several releases; 2009’s Leper Colony EP, 2011’s The Harvest Wombs LP, Nomadic EP in 2013, and most recently their critically acclaimed album The Flesh Prevails.

GHOST BATH:
GHOST BATH plays atmospheric black metal focused on depression and human emotion. In 2013, Nameless wrote and recorded a self-titled EP and released it through two indie labels in China and Russia. His next release, Funeral, gained more popularity for the band through the Chinese label, Pest Productions, released in early 2014.

The critically acclaimed Moonlover – the first part of GHOST BATH‘s trilogy – was recorded later that year with engineer Josh Schroeder in Michigan. Nameless, once again, wrote and recorded the album himself, finishing it in just three days time. “The album explores melancholy, sorry, depression, and earthly things,” says Nameless. “It represents purgatory and, most importantly; tragedy. The trilogy will represent basic human emotions and the experience of an afterlife simultaneously.”

Starmourner, the brand new album, takes these concepts to a higher level. It explores joy (instead of sorrow), the cosmos (instead of earth), and paradise (instead of purgatory.) But most importantly, it explores ecstasy -instead of tragedy- as its basic human emotion. With over 72 minutes of heavy, melodic, and dramatic black metal, it is GHOST BATH‘s most ambitious undertaking yet.
