With fans and critics anticipating, “Are A Thousand Horses about to become the world’s biggest Southern rock band?” (Classic Rock), the hard-charging quartet is hitting the trail with a defiant, genre-busting icon in the new year. They’ve been selected by the “American Badass” himself – KID ROCK – as direct support for his GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH TOUR 2018.

Set to take the stage for massive arena concerts, A THOUSAND HORSES can’t wait to showcase their “hard, Southern-rock edge” (Entertainment Weekly) to rowdy fans of their provocative host. Huge crowds will be looking to turn loose, and the band is more than happy to oblige with fist-pumping hits like their GOLD-certified #1 debut, “Smoke,” and good-timing latest single, “Preachin’ To the Choir.”

“Last year we had the opportunity to do two nights at Fenway Park with Kid Rock and to get the chance to tour with him in 2018 is a dream come true,” stated A Thousand Horses. “We have been big fans for a long time and can’t wait to get on the road to prove Southern Rock is alive and well.”

With tickets on sale now, the tour will kick off in Nashville on January 19 and includes dates from New York to Nevada, culminating with a show at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center on March 24.

Lauded as “Country’s coolest band” (Rolling Stone), A Thousand Horses is made up of Michael Hobby (lead vocals), Bill Satcher (lead guitar), Zach Brown (guitar), and Graham Deloach (bass).

This summer the band released their scorching, live-focused project, BRIDGES, which includes six swaggering new tracks like “Preachin’ To the Choir” and seven acoustic versions of the their best-loved jams – including breakout smash, “Smoke.” The album was co-produced by the band themselves with studio aces Corey Crowder and Dann Huff. Each of the acoustic tracks was recorded live, with six taking shape in London’s famed Metropolis Studios (recorded live-to-vinyl) and “Smoke” filling the air during a raucous night in the Nashville tourist destination of Printer’s Alley.

Their first album, SOUTHERNALITY, was released to Top 5 success in 2015, leading to nominations at the ACM Awards, American Country Countdown Awards and the CMT Music Awards, a tour with superstar Jason Aldean and a string of international concert dates. The band is currently in the studio working on the next evolution of their muscular Southern Rock-meets-Country sound.

ABOUT A THOUSAND HORSES
America’s bona fide band of brothers A Thousand Horses delivers an authentic fusion of Southern Rock and contemporary Country mixed with rowdy jams. Their 13-track project BRIDGES features working man’s anthem “Preachin’ To the Choir” along with seven acoustic tracks, six of which were recorded live in the U.K. at the famed Metropolis Studios. The group’s debut single “Smoke” made Country Aircheck history as the highest debut for a new artist and solidified the band (with at least three members) as the first this decade to score a #1 with their first single on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. A Thousand Horses have landed multiple awards show nominations, most recently vying for the title of New Vocal Duo or Group Of The Year at the 52nd Annual ACM Awards. The band’s debut album, SOUTHERNALITY, blends Southern Rock and influential sounds of The Black Crowes and Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street era. The talented foursome soars with Michael Hobby on lead vocals as Bill Satcher and Zach Brown on guitar and Graham Deloach on bass round out their unique grooves. After opening for Country powerhouse Jason Aldean and a string of performances in the U.K. last fall, A Thousand Horses are currently headlining shows across the U.S. before kicking off their opening run on Kid Rock’s GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH TOUR 2018 in January. New music from the band is on the horizon, with details coming soon. For more information and tour dates, visit AThousandHorses.com
