The Shindig Music Festival

Carroll Park in Baltimore, MD played host to the 3rd annual Shindig Music Festival on September 29th. The Festival is the brainchild of 24-7 Entertainment promoter, Paul Manna who started the festival with the hopes of bringing a laid back festival vibe to his hometown. This years festival consisted of two main stages that saw Anthrax, Chevelle, Helmet, Reverend Horton Heat, Nothing More, Crobot, Clutch and was headlined by Stone Temple Pilots and Godsmack. The festival also hosted a third stage the Ripley’s “Believe it or Not” stage which featured an array of talent including performances by sword swallowers, fire breathers, aerial acrobats, and burlesque dancers.

The Shindig Music Festival also gives local bands from the Maryland area a chance to hit the stage as well. This year the festival had locals Guns out at Sundown, and Black Angel Down open up each of the main stages.
