The Stangs' American Sessions

The Stangs are a talented three-piece that is sure to cure your music doldrums. Reminiscent to the sounds of bands like The Hives and JET, The Stangs are a Brit rock/pop punk band with a sound that can become addicting. This band from Western Wales has a forthcoming EP that is pleasant to the ears and soul.

If you need a break from the loud music that is stealing away your hearing, but you still want something that rocks, this is it.

Beginning with “The Beekeeper” you’ll get that vintage rock feel from these guys, not quite The Beatles, but something close and something similar. If you like the rock sounds of the 50s and 60s this song will please your ears.

“She’s A Stranger” has less of a beat to it, but it still has that vintage feel. The vocals are great, though you can easily hear the singers accent (which is perfectly fine because it sounds great). “Never Been To London” has a beat that is in between the other two songs. It’s not slow, but it isn’t fast. It is mesmerizing though.

“Dirty Faces” ends the album with a song that kind of sounds like the lovechild of Joan Jett and The Beatles. You’ll especially enjoy the raspy vocals on this one.
