Seether at The Ritz Raleigh, 11-26-2017

Excited fans of all ages lined up outside The Ritz for Shaman’s Harvest and Seether. As the venue filled up, this standing-room only venue gave off an intimate feel through the entire floor. No seat, so-to-speak, was a bad seat to see the stage.

Opening for the bands is a punk/rock/grunge band, The Dead Deads, which was the perfect fit for the music Shaman’s Harvest and Seether bring to the stage. In the same songs, you can expect a fun beat and hippy melodies that transition to heavy head-banging music.

Shaman’s Harvest was next in the lineup with their country/rock/blue fusion music, with their most recognizable tracks of “Country as F*ck,” and their heavy cover of “Dirty Diana.”

These two bands left audience members literally pulsing with excitement for Seether to enter the stage next. In an epic sound check, fans were psyched out a few times with the expectation of the set to begin. Seether came on stage performing hard an the energy in the venue was pulsing all night.

In addition to new songs, Seether performed classic hits, such as “Fake It,” and even blasts from the past with Nirvana’s “Rape Me,” and a teaser of Crash Test Dummies’ “Mmm Mmm Mmm,” hitting those deep notes perfectly.

Seether released their Poison the Parish album earlier this year, in May, touring from April to August. Their second tour kicked off the previous night in Charlotte, NC with dates through December 20, touring with The Dead Deads, and Shaman’s Harvest joining them for a few shows.
