Seasons After At The Drunk Horse Pub 1/28/2017

Seasons After is a very underestimated group of great guys that put on an absolutely incredible show. They made a stop at the Drunk Horse Pub in Fayetteville, NC for their third night of the Renegades and Rebels winter tour. They are co-headlining with Shallowside and have support from special guests Guns Out at Sundown.

Unfortunately, Shallowside was not able to be part of the show in Fayetteville but that did not in any way hinder the electrifying vibe that this show gave to the fans that attended. Supporting the show were some of the finest supporting acts that NC could provide. From beginning to end there was absolutely no shortage of energy.

Hailing from Maryland the guys of Guns Out at Sundown had a serious presence during their set. The unique sound that these guys bring to the table is truly breathtaking. My favorite song during their set was “Desperate Times Call for Desperate Women”. Even though it is what you could call old school GOAS, the translation from recorded album to live is absolutely incredible. Nathan O’Haver really delivers raw and powerful lyrics. They even had their tour manager hop on stage for a closing song.

Having seen Seasons After multiple times, I have to admit I have become an avid fan of the guys since early 2008. When the guys took the stage the entire room of concert attendees were laser focused. Once again, the guys did not disappoint. The lights, the music, the band: everything was absolutely on point. They showcased new tracks from their new album Manifesto including, “Through the Rain”, “Fighter and Mad World”, while also pleasing longtime fans such as myself with “Gettin’ Even” and my personal favorite “Lights Out”. In true showmanship fashion the guys rounded out the show with the song that engrains itself into the minds of any person that hears it, “Cry Little Sister”, which is their cover of the song made famous by the movie The Lost Boys.

The show wasn’t the only thing that thing that really struck me as amazing. To see the interaction between Seasons After and their fans is one of the most heartwarming thing I have seen in a very long time. There was a little girl who was attending her first concert and every single band interacted with her and made her first concert an amazing one. To see how dedicated these artists are to their fans truly made this show one of the top 10 shows that I have had the honor of attending.

You can catch Seasons After along with Shallowside and Guns Out at Sundown on tour for the Rebels and Renegades tour through mid-March. You can grab VIP packages and tickets directly from the artists on their websites or on Facebook.
