Royal Blood Scores Second No.1 With "Lights Out" -- Watch The Band Perform On The Late Late Show With James Corden

LOS ANGELES, CA – AUGUST 16, 2017 – British rock band Royal Blood’s current single “Lights Out” has reached No. 1 on the rock radio chart (as the No. 1 Gainer for good measure). This is the band’s second visit to the #1 position on the Rock Airplay chart, following “Little Monster” which peaked there in July 2015.

“Lights Out” is featured on the band’s most recent release How Did We Get So Dark?, which was released on June 16th on Warner Bros. Records and debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. The album has accumulated over 30 million streams to date across Spotify and Apple Music and sold over 250,000 copies globally.

Earlier this week, Royal Blood returned to The Late Late Show with James Corden for a blistering performance of “Lights Out”, which can be seen HERE. Previously, the band has performed the song on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Praise for How Did We Get So Dark? includes USA Today: “a monstrously good album,” Rolling Stone: “a taut, smoldering album from a pair that has distilled rock to its essence,” NME: “the sound of modern masters honing their craft,” Entertainment Weekly: “darkly thrilling,” Forbes: “Royal Blood ready to make leap to rock stardom on second album,” and much more.

Royal Blood performed on the main stage at Outside Lands this past weekend. This fall they will support Queens of the Stone Age across the U.S. See below for a complete list of upcoming dates.
