Rob Zombie closed out the 2017 concert season at the Portsmouth Pavilion on Thursday night, and what better setting to catch a stop of the ‘Satanic Orgy 2017′ tour, than under a full moon. An 18 song set with two encores made up the nights event. The set included several White Zombie classics like “More Human Than Human” where Zombie takes to the barricade to get up close and personal with the fans as well as the classic fan favorite “Thunder Kiss ’65” also included in the current set list are the Ramones’ cover of “Blitzkrieg Bop,’ and Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out”.
Rob Zombie’s latest album, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser got plenty of play during the night with “In the Age of the Consecrated Vampire We All Get High,” “Well, Everybody’s Fucking in a U.F.O.,” “The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore,” “Get Your Boots On! That’s the End of Rock and Roll,” and “Wurdalak” being added to the tour’s set list.
