Music Happens Here Launches on Spotify in Partnership with Live Nation, and Presented by Hilton Honors

Spotify – in partnership with Live Nation, and Presented by Hilton Honors, today launched the first episode of Music Happens Here, an original music and travel video series which examines some of the most iconic places around the world where music has been created, performed, and celebrated. The premiere episode takes viewers on an inside tour of Los Angeles from the ocean sunsets that lit up Jim Morrison’s work with The Doors to the Sunset strip lights that bathed Guns N’ Roses and countless other metal acts as they crafted the soundtrack to the ’80s.  Los Angeles is and always has been a muse – its energy and its landscapes inspiring artists and musicians across generations. The full episode is available now on Spotify.

Music has a rich legacy, with roots in cities all over the world and the Music Happens Here series, available only on Spotify, is a celebration of the places where music has happened.  Future episodes will highlight the specific places that inspired some of our the most cherished songs, from “New York State of Mind” to “London Calling.”

The Music Happens Here Spotify series is part of Hilton’s larger music program with Live Nation and The Recording Academy. Launching last month, the unique program, also titled Music Happens Here, provides Hilton Honors members with access to top concerts, private meet-and-greets with chart-topping artists, one-on-one artist experiences, and exclusive concerts at Hilton hotels/resorts and in iconic music landmarks.Look out for additional episodes to roll out throughout the year.
