The Return of the Dreads Tour wrapped up Saturday night at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA. The tour which features co-headliners Korn, Rob Zombie, and special guest In This Moment has been making its way across the country most of the summer as one of the hottest tours. Threats of rain from hurricane Hermine didn’t discourage fans from coming out for a great night of music. Kicking things off for the night were In This Moment who played a shortened opening eight song setlist that included hits “Sick Like Me”, “Sex Metal Barbie”, “Whore”, and closed out with “Whore”. In This Moment will have a brief rest at home before heading to Japan for a seven day run in Tokyo, look for them to return to the U.S. for another leg of headline tours this fall.

In This Moment Setlist:

Sick Like Me
Black Widow
Adrenalize
Burn
Sex Metal Barbie
Whore
Blood

Rob Zombie released “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser” back in April, and Saturday’s setlist featured three songs from the new album “In The Age of the Consecrated Vampire We All Get High”, “Well, Everybody’s Fucking in a U.F.O.”, “The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore”, as well as fan favorites and White Zombie classics, “More Human Than Human”, and “Thunder Kiss ’65”. Rob Zombie has a few U.S dates scheduled in September including an appearance at Riot Fest in Chicago before heading to Europe for a few dates. Fans were treated to a viewing of Rob Zombie’s new trailer for 31 prior to the band taking to the stage for their encore which featured the song “Dragula”. Hopefully fans will be able to catch Rob and company again later in the fall if he releases more tour dates.

Korn closed out the evening and closed the book on this chapter of The Return Of The Dreads Tour, showing fans that after twenty-three years they still have what it takes to headline large amphitheaters. Taking to the stage just before ten o’clock Jonathan Davis and company got the nearly fifteen thousand fans up and on their feet kicking things off with “Right Now” followed by “Here to Stay”, which based on the bands performance is an understatement. Korn has a new album The Serenity of Suffering which is due out on October 21st and fans were treated to two new tracks from the album in the nights setlist, the new single “Rotting in Vain” and “Insane”. Fans were able to purchase a limited edition signed poster of the new album cover along with a digital download of the album from the band’s merch booth during the show. For those unlucky enough not to be able to grab one at a show pre-orders can be purchased thru the band’s website HERE.
