The Peanut Gallery’s Deep Thoughts

The Peanut Gallery's Deep Thoughts
“Deep Thoughts” is the first single from the upcoming Tales From the Basement album from The Peanut Gallery. It’s a traditional rap song that has a flowing light beat to it. It’s a nod your head kind of rap song, something with an R&B edge to it.

The Peanut Gallery is a new rap duo hailing from New Jersey. They started as a five piece, but you can find out that story on your own. Orlando and Flee Jones are the rap/musical talents behind this song (and album).

It’s a song about many things, from not being accepted by your peers to racism. They talk about people disliking their music, about being ignored because of their color, and about getting flack about rapping for a living. Anyone that has ever made a living as a creative, been attacked/let down/ignored because of the color of their skin or sexual orientation, or has done something someone else didn’t like can probably find a way to relate to this song.

It’s well-written and will have you looking forward to hearing what the rest of the album is like. Listen to the song on Soundcloud, https://soundcloud.com/thepeanutgallery1/deep-thoughts and check out the video on Youtube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lX4me7uVRs. The video is pretty low budget, but interesting to watch.
