The third leg of In This Moment’s ‘Half God, Half Devil’ tour stopped in Silver Spring, Md on Sunday to play in front of a packed house at The Fillmore. Nearly 2000 fans lined up around the block for the show which consisted of Avatar, Of Mice & Men, and In This Moment.
Avatar got things started with a seven song set that woke the crowd up and set the tone for the evening. For those who may not have been fans prior to the show definitely left as fans as Avatar kicked off their set with “Hail the Apocalypse.” The guys rounded out their set with “Bloody Angel,” “The Eagle Has Landed,” “Let It Burn,” and closed out with “Smells Like a Freakshow.” Avatar is a must see live band for any rock/metal fan!
Of Mice & Men got the crowd moshing and crowd surfing during their set, which consisted of songs like, “Unbreakable,” “Would You Still Be There,” “Back to Me,” and “You Make Me Sick.”
In This Moment closed out the night with a 12 song set consisting of six songs from the new album Ritual. Ritual is the band’s sixth studio album and hit the number three spot on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums list. In This Moment’s live show is more than just a concert, it’s a production consisting of choreographed dances and wardrobe changes by vocalists Maria Brink.
