Champions Park in Louisville, KY hosted the Louder Than Life Festival for the fourth straight year. Fans came from across the region to see over 35 of the top touring bands in the country play over the two-day festival.
Louder Than Life offers fans more than just some of the best music in the country, but also gives fans one of the best festival experiences out there. With some of the best bourbon and gourmet food fans have plenty to choose from when taking a break from the music. Some of this year’s fan experiences included, F.Y.E Experience, The Music Experience, Monster Energy Experience, Jack Daniels Experience, and Bourbon World.
Fans couldn’t have asked for better weather for this years festival and fans turned out in record numbers proving rock is not dead in the city of Louisville.
Saturday saw the likes of Of Mice & Men, Eagles of Death Metal, Hollywood Undead, Gojira, Steel Panther, Halestorm, Mastodon, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, and Ozzy Osbourne take to the stages.
One of the many highlights of the day included the return of Hollywood Undead to Louder Than life. The band debuted their latest single “California Dreaming” at the festival which was the first show of their current tour which will continue thru December 11th when it wraps up in Santa Ana, CA.

Steel Panther closed out the days activities over at the Zorn stage, which saw acts like He Is Legend, DED, Through Fire and Fire From The Gods all play earlier in the day.

After wrapping things up at the Zorn stage fans made their way back across the festival grounds to finish things up with Halestorm, Mastodon, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, and Ozzy Osbourne.
Fans were treated to a ten song set by Lzzy Hale and the rest of the guys of Halestorm. With songs like “Apocalyptic,” “Mayhem,” and “I Miss The Misery” it’s no surprise why Halestorm are a crowd favorite at any festival. Rob Zombie returned to Louder Than Life, making a stop while out on his ‘Satanic Orgy 2017’ tour. With a fourteen song set, Zombie mixed things up with material from his latest release, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, White Zombie classics, and a few covers to round things out.

Louder Than Life 2017 saw the return of Five Finger Death Punch with Ivan Moody fronting the band. Ivan looked and sounded the best he ever has as he led the band thru a eleven song set to close out the Loudmouth Stage for the day. The set included acoustic versions of “Wrong Side of Heaven,” and “Remember Everything.” Five Finger Death Punch will make festival stops at Rock Allegiance and Aftershock before heading to Russia and Europe to close out 2017.

Iconic rock legend Ozzy Osbourne closed out the festival on Saturday. Ozzy only has two remaining scheduled appearance for 2017 when he headlines this years Aftershock and Ozzfest Meets Knotfest festivals.
