Korn Surprises Fans With Acoustic Performance

This years Carolina Rebellion saw the return of the Zippo Sessions. Roughly 50 fans who stopped by the Zippo Encore tent were given a special guess pass to an acoustic performance by a band to be named later.

At roughly 5:30 the selected fans were escorted across the festival grounds to a tent that had been set up to host the special acoustic performance. Sirius XM Octane’s Jose Mangin took to the stage to introduce the band that would be performing for this special performance.

To everyone’s surprise it was the one and only Korn who took the stage. Jonathan Davis and crew played a two song acoustic set that consisted of “Alone” and the band’s classic “Clown”. It’s one thing to see Korn on the big stage performing, but to be able to experience an intimate acoustic performance is a whole new experience. Fans who were able to attend left with a special memory that few have had the opportunity to witness.

Look for more to come from the Zippo Sessions and be sure to stop by the Zippo Encore tent at the remaining World’s Loudest Month Festivals.
