The KILLTHRAX Tour Makes Stop At The Fillmore Silver Spring

Fans filled The Fillmore on Monday night when the ‘Killthrax’ tour made a stop in Silver Spring, MD. The tour which is coheadlined by Anthrax and Killswitch Engage, also features Jasta and The Devil Wears Prada. With the floor and balconies full, fans showed that metal is indeed alive and well in the D.C. area.  The tour kicked off March 29th and will wrap up in Boston on May 7th. For any fan of metal this is a tour you don’t want to miss. Where else can you see two of the biggest names in metal on the same stage?

Getting things started for the night was Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta with his solo project Jasta. Jamey released his sophomore solo album The Lost Chapters on March 31st, the album can be purchased HERE. Icons Anthrax showed fans why they’re one of the ‘Big Four’ when it comes to thrash metal. The guys recently released the “‘For All Kings’ Limited Edition 7-Inch Box Set” for more info on the collector’s item box set go HERE. You can also check out the new track “Vice of the People,” from the box set HERE. Anthrax played a 12 song set that was just over an hour-long, the setlist for the night can be seen below. Anthrax will take the stage with two of the ‘Big Four’ when they join Megadeth and Slayer at this year’s Chicago Open Air Festival in July.
