3x GRAMMY nominated act, Highly Suspect  played ‘Little One’ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, kicking off their GRAMMY week. They released their sophomore album The Boy Who Died Wolf earlier this year and their single ‘My Name Is Human’ quickly rose to the top of the rock charts. Their new album has been warmly received by press and fans alike, receiving rave reviews from the likes of NPR, Associated Press, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, and many more. The sonically eclectic album is also a hit with streaming services where it’s consistently generating over 1 million streams week-to-week, a strong showing for a developing rock/alternative act.

The 300 Entertainment recording act is one of the music industry’s most exciting artist development stories. Their debut album, Mister Asylum was released in July 2015 to critical praise. Shortly after, Highly Suspect made their network television debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers and also performed on on CONAN. Only months after their debut release the band were thrilled when they were unexpectedly nominated for Best Rock Song for single “Lydia” and Best Rock album. The band were asked to close out the pre-telecast GRAMMY ceremony with a live performance of their hit single, and the bar was set for their second album.

And the release of the sophomore album surpassed all expectations. It earned the  #1 spot on the ‘Current Alternative Album‘ chart, #2  Rock Album‘ behind Metallica, #15 on the ‘Current Albums‘ chart, and #28 on the ‘Billboard Top 200′ chart. Though the album was not released in the official GRAMMY eligibility window, their single was. The band were elated again when they found out that they were going back to the award show, this time nominated for Best Rock Song, alongside legends David Bowie, Metallica, Radiohead, and Twenty One Pilots.

Take a look at their performance on the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and tune in to The GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, February 12th.
