HELLYEAH At Shiley Acres 7/30/2017

Written By: Brandon Delano

After a night of heavy rains that carried over into the morning, the clouds parted and the sun shined down on Shiley Acres for a day filled with some great music. Fans poured into the rain-soaked venue to catch Cane Hill, Kyng, Black Stone Cherry, and Hellyeah close out the season and may have left a little muddy, but definitely didn’t leave disappointed.

Cane Hill had the crowd moshing and forming circle pits, Kyng put on a great performance as always with a surprise guest appearance by Hellyeah’s Christian Brady, if Shiley Acres would have had a roof Black Stone Cherry would have blown it off, and Hellyeah closed out the night and season with an energy packed performance which has come to be known by Chad and the guys.

Black Stone Cherry filled their set with fan favorites, “White Trash Millionaire,” “Me and Mary Jane,” “Blame it on the Boom Boom,” and a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child”. Hellyeah closed out the night with a set that consisted of “Sangre por Sangre (Blood for Blood),” “Moth,” “Love Falls,” and the cover of Phil Collins’ “I Don’t Care Anymore”.

Cane Hill, Kyng, and Hellyeah will continue the ‘Undeniable’ tour through August, while Black Stone Cherry will wrap up their current tour in mid November.
