Guns n Roses Not In This Lifetime Tour 10/19/2017

The ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour stopped in D.C. to play a sold out show at the newly named Capital One Arena on Thursday night.

The tour features the long awaited reunion of Axl, Slash, and Duff. Although it’s not a full reunion of the classic lineup, this may be the closest fans have to seeing a full reunion for quite some time.

After the success of the tour back in the summer when the band played a stadium tour, the demand from the fans warranted another leg of the tour this time playing smaller arenas.

With no opening band Guns n Roses hit the stage roughly around 7 p.m and played a thirty-two song set lasting for over three hours. The setlist consisted of all the classic GnR songs like “It’s So Easy,” “Mr. Brownstone,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” and of course “Paradise City.” The set also included a couple of covers mixed in “Wichita Lineman,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Black Hole Sun,” “The Seeker,” and Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heavens Door” all made the set.

Appetite For Destruction was released in 1987 and last night thirty years later Guns n Roses showed they still have what it takes to sell out arenas.

The current tour will wrap up on November 29th at the Forum in Inglewood, CA. To purchase tickets and VIP packages go HERE
