If you’ve been missing the sounds of STP, Alice In Chains, old school Pearl Jam, and the like, this song will have you flashing back to those good old days of the early 90s. Someone on Soundcloud compared this singer’s vocals to that of Layne Staley, and it was an apt comparison. Listening to this song will have you on Spotify listening to the likes of Eddie Vedder, Layne, and even the late, great Chris Cornell.
Dusty Grant has another song available on his Soundcloud, It’ll Be Okay, which keeps in line with that grunge sound he channeled in his debut of This Longing Heart. His grunge rock sound could bring this genre back to popularity with a full-length album if he even has one in the works. For now, you can listen online or check out the video for this debut release. The video is a little lackluster, just Grant and his guitar in the studio, but the song is worth a listen.
