Nashville Meets London co-producer and AristoMedia’s President of Marketing and International Relations, Matt Watkins commented, “The UK Country scene is alive. It’s obvious that fans are willing to do what it takes to hear the music in London, including standing in the pouring rain ALL day on Saturday.  It’s a great feeling to have a platform that introduces Nashville’s emerging talent into the marketplace to perform alongside UK talent, providing an opportunity that helps increase the artist’s fan base there.”
Emmy award-winning television host and radio personality, Kelly Sutton served as a Nashville correspondent for the two-day event.  Sutton provided coverage daily on NBC’s Today in Nashville and southern lifestyle website, One Country.  Sutton captured performance clips and interviews with with established and Nashville and UK artists. She will also provide post-event coverage on the Country Roads channel for TuneIn Radio. TuneIn Radio currently has an audience of over 60 million subscribers.  See clips from Sutton’s festival coverage here: day 1 and day 2.

Sutton adds, “I’m so excited to have been a part of this event! Not only did we get to showcase incredible acts from Nashville and the UK, but also got to do it in beautiful Canary Wharf! It’s clear the fans are starving for Country music, and opportunities are building there for artists. This was my first trip to England and I already feel as if I’ve made so many friends there.”
