Cat Dail’s Fight For Love

Cat Dail's Fight For Love

“Can’t Buy Love” has a bluesy sound mixed with something more. It’s indie music genius. Cat Dail has a glorious voice that offers such a pleasing sound as you listen to the fabulous lyrics of her songs. This track is extremely creative, and the creativity and experimentation don’t stop with this first track.

When “Player” starts it sounds like a blend of jazz and disco. As the lyrics begin it stays with that jazzy feel, but it moves into something reminiscent of Lorde’s music, minus the dance beat.

Dail’s music may defy categorizing, but it’s worth every minute of music. From the fresh instrumentation in each track, all of them sounding a bit different, to her beautiful vocals, these songs are divinity.

“Wonder Love” is the stand out track. It starts with a 70s guitar solo, moving into a creative and experimental tune that quickly turns into an earworm. It’s a catchy track with guitars that carry the beat. It almost has a stoner rock sound to it.

This EP is a five-star effort. If you’ve been longing for a creative female fronted album that will inspire you, Fight For Love is what you should invest in. Check it out on Bandcamp, https://catdail.bandcamp.com/album/fight-for-love.
