C.K. and the Rising Tide’s single ‘Friends’

With his new album, American Romance, coming soon, C.K. Flach has released a single. Flach is an alt-country singer/songwriter from New York that leans toward an Americana and indie rock combo in his musical stylings.

For this new album, Flach teamed up with Chris Brandt on bass and Danny Boudreau on violins and keyboards. The two additions make up the Rising Tide. While Flach has done solo recordings, this is the debut album for the trio.

“Friends” is a song with a heartfelt classic country sound. There’s a lot of violin in this song, and it starts out sounding a little busy. However, once the lyrics kick in it simply has a delightful country sound with honest lyrics.

It’s a song about accepting the differences in other people. Just take a listen to the lyrics. There is a lot of life in this song.

Country music fans will find a five-star track in this little ditty.
