Billy Idol At First Ave Minneapolis MN 7-10-16

Billy Idol tickets went on sale months ago and were almost instantly SOLD OUT . Billy was on a short US tour called “Billy Forever tour 2016”.

 Opening the concert was “The Blind Shake” punk, surf rock band from Minneapolis MN. The Blind Shake came out and played a short set. They played a excellent set from my opinion and the cheers of the crowd.

 First Ave was packed wall to wall of Billy Idol fans waiting intently for the man himself. The humidity was incredible this evening. Billy came out pounding his fist to the opening song “Shock to the System”.  Billy at age 60 played the show like he was 22 again. Steve Stevens energetic play and  style was amazing. Billy Idol played a great timeless concert at First Ave leaving the fans wanting more.
