Andrew Goldring’s Morning Light

“Cosmic Dance” (http://www.sidestagemagazine.com/andrew-goldring-takes-chance-cosmic-dance/) is no longer alone when it comes to Goldring’s new EP, as the complete four songs were released the beginning of July. While “Cosmic Dance” remains a great introduction to Goldring’s new sound, it definitely isn’t the best song on this release.

All of the songs have a deep feel to them, with some amazing lyrical talent behind them. Not only does Goldring have a vocal range that would make any singer jealous, he has a talent for singing amazing songs that give you all the feels.

The best track on this EP is “Let Me Be.” It has a cool beat to it, sure to have your toe tapping, but it is far deeper than most songs you’ll hear these days. “Beautiful Lie” has more of a swaying musical sound to it but is still a very intriguing and touching song. The influence of Ryan Adams on this musician is evident in the sounds of these songs.

The EP wraps up with “Morning Light,” the title track. This one is the slowest song on the album and makes you almost feel as though you’re on the ocean, floating within the words of the song. It’s strange and beautiful.

Fans of Sparklehorse, Radiohead, and Elliott Smith will definitely enjoy the music of Andrew Goldring. You can check him out here: https://andrewgoldring.bandcamp.com/album/morning-light
