Anthrax brings exactly what they are known for, aggression, speed and lyrics that depict hell on earth, with 13 tracks of brutally honest lyrics that leave you knowing Anthrax is taking no prisoners. When you start it off, you are instantly hit with the brutal guitars and insane vocals. The title track off their 11th studio album, You “Gotta Believe,” is a carrying the torch anthem. It’s in your face message is the reason why their career has exceeded 35 years. Zero Tolerance defies the laws of speed. This track alone lets everyone know that Anthrax is the only Kings of Thrash.
The artwork alone by comic book artist, Alex Ross, sends a message to any doubters. All five members are depicted as Kings with their legions of followers scammering to obtain some peace in a shattered world. Alex Ross did an amazing job with the imagery. The Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History did include these icons as part of its Places of Invention display for a reason.
