Thirteen thousand fans braved the chilly temps and drizzling rain to see one of the strongest lineups of FM99’s Lunatic Luau to date. Spread across two stages at the newly named Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach, fans were treated to performances by; Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Sevendust, Trivium, Ghost, and more. Getting things started on the Fuzion Ink Tattoo Side Stage were local battle of the bands winner Fallout of Fear. By the time Trivium took to the stage at 6pm fans had filled the side stage area including the rear hill of the amphitheater itself. Grammy-Award winning Ghost closed out the day over on the side stage, putting on a show well deserving of a Grammy for best metal performance. Bands that played on the side stage included; Fallout of Fear, Wilson, Unlocking the Truth, Trivium, and Ghost.
Over at the Hardee’s Main Stage it was Red Sun Rising who got things started, with the night be closed out by Five Finger Death Punch. Bands that played the main stage were; Red Sun Rising, Sevendust, P.O.D., Bush, Shinedown, and Five Finger Death Punch. Check the gallery below for all the performances.
